Thunder Lake Association - Aquatic Invasive Species Prevention

Description

The Thunder Lake Association: 1. Distributed over 2,500 AIS awareness handouts to businesses in Remer, Longville, Hackensak, Walker, Grand Rapids and area, Crosby, Deerwood and Outing and over 750 to the Red Lake Indian Reservation. 2. Divided the lake into 7 team areas. Thunder Lake Association volunteers visited neighbors with handouts in hand and talked to owners about AIS. If no-one is home, they left the handouts in a bag on the doorknob. We reached every household on Thunder Lake. There are 300 homes.
