Hubbard COUNTY AIS PUBLIC AWARENESS – BILLBOARDS & RADIO ADS


Description


The Hubbard County Coalition of Lake Associations: 1. Design and procure materials for resort folders (Tasks 1-5). Resort Letter with list of folder contents (copy attached)-- 60 sets of laminated AIS ID cards (copy attached), 525 Fish Rulers, 60 laminated watercraft inspection guides, a guest contact letter, AIS Z-Fold brochure, DNR Annual AIS Summary Reports, several AIS cards, and DNR SAH signs were procured/obtained. All materials were inserted into folders for distribution. 2. Distribute folders to local resorts and businesses (Task 6) -- 26 new resorts were contacted (3 more to do); 19 resorts from 2008 list were re-contacted and given updated materials (9 still to do). All of the resort folder materials are posted on COLA’s website with a special link for the resort materials. This effort brings the total resorts visited (2008/2009) to 63. 3. Design and procure a Z-Fold brochure on AIS (Task 7) -- Z-Fold brochure was completed and approved by DNR Eco Resources (Samples attached). 10,000 copies were purchased. 4. Distribute Z-Fold brochures (Task 8) -- About 6000 brochures have been distributed. In addition to the resorts, a list of the organizations receiving the brochures is attached. The remaining brochures will be distributed in the future (2010)
