Description


Pelican Lake Property Owners Association provided the Breezy Point Resort the DNR “Help Stop Aquatic Hitchhikers” brochures for distribution to users of the Breezy Point Resort marina boat ramp. They sent two mailings with invitations to over 80 identified water service professionals requesting their help in helping prevent transfer of AIS and attend one of four informational seminars identifying, location and prevention methods. They provided AIS prevention information and identification of the water service professional attending the provided seminars was listed on the PLA(PLPOA) and WAPOA web sites and in the L.A.R.A.’s news letter(The Advocate)to their 37 lake association members.
