Brande Road Savanna Enhancement


The project is part of efforts to restore oak savanna habitat by seeding areas with native species. Initial enhancement work included thinning via timber sale and chemical treatment of invasive species. Following prescribed burning, project goals are to seed, burn and graze the area.
