WMA Prescribed Burning 2

Prescribed burning will take place on 14 Wildlife Management Areas, in Hubbard and Wadena Counties. Periodic burning maintains and enhances grassland and brush land habitats. Good quality habitat will benefit a multitude of wildlife species. Within the burn boundaries on each WMA, firebreaks will be constructed and prescribed burning will take place during optimal conditions to improve habitat.
