Klabunde WMA Forest Edge

Description

Invasive species (Cottonwood, Boxelder, Green Ash) in Klabunde WMA have spread to a point that they are choking out the hard woods and degrading the grass and forbes along the edge. These have reduced the ability of the good species to flourish and reduced the effectiveness of the land to provide good habitat. The unwanted trees will be cut and ground to allow the forbes to regenerate.
