Wild Rose WMA Addition


Description


This proposal is for fee-title acquisition on 95 acres of private land in Chisago County as an addition to the Wild Rose Wildlife Management Area. The site contains a variety of cover types: mixed hardwoods, aspen woods, agricultural fields, and mix of cool & warm season grasses. Subsequently the land will be restored to a grassland/wetland complex. There are multiple benefits of this project including wildlife habitat, recreation, access, water control, water quality and local community support.
