Description


Swamp thistle grows in wet prairies, wet meadows, marsh edges, and other sunny, moist places on loamy soil, in sedge or non-acid peat. Leaves are prickly but stem and flower heads are not. Pretty in a mixture of wet meadow or wet prairie plants.
