Description


Cup-plant is native to the deciduous forest region. It tends to grow in moist soil in full to partial sun along streams and lakeshores, in moist woods, and in ditches. The plant is interesting because of its rigid square stem and paired leaves that are fused across the stem. The flowers are bold and cheery, like sunflowers.
