Description


Hairy grama is a common grass of drier, shortgrass prairies of North America. It occurs, on dunes, bluffs, gravelly ridges or places where it is not crowded by taller prairie grasses. It does best on well-drained sandy soil. A low-growing, ground cover, good for hot, dry spots.
